Foot Passenger Ferry
If you are travelling without your car then the RedJet is conveniently placed to take you from Southampton Quays right into the heart of (West)Cowes with an estimated travel time of 25 minutes. If you give us a call the day you are arriving or catch us before checkout we can usually shuttle you to and from the RedJet terminal in Cowes.

Car Ferry
If you are travelling to the Island with your car then you have multiple options for your choice of car carrying ferry;
Red Funnel's Car Ferry connects Southampton to East Cowes
Wighlink's Car Ferry with an estimated travel time of 55 minutes.
Wightlink runs 2 Car Ferries that connect Portsmouth to Fishbourne and Lymington to Yarmouth both with an estimated travel time of 40 minutes.

If you are traveling from the west of the country as a rule of thumb the Lymington to Yarmouth route is a better choice.
If you are traveling from all other parts of the UK then generally the Portsmouth to Fishbourne route is a more convenient crossing.
